What will the apprentice be doing?
- Supporting the preparation of sales invoices and month-end duties
- Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries, including phone
- Data entry
- Checking and inputting purchase ledger invoices
- Dealing with the general day to day purchase ledger queries
- Ensuring that the purchase ledger is effectively controlled and maintained
- Assisting the finance team by carrying out general administration duties including filing, photocopying
- Monitoring and maintaining deadlines
- Preparing letters and invoices from templates
- Calling customers in regards to payments
- Supporting the work of the accounts/finance team in additional areas as required
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- On and off the job training
- Level 2 Accounts/Finance Assistant Apprenticeship
- Day release at Middlesbrough College
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Depending on the circumstances of the business upon completion of the apprenticeship programme there could be a potential position of employment available
