Brief overview of the role

Trusted Plumbing & Heating are looking for an Apprentice Administrator to join their growing team to engage with internal and external customers and develop key customer relationships to support the business development. The apprentice will support and engage with different parts of the organisation, including teams across multi-trades.

Trusted Plumbing and Heating are looking for someone who is self-motivated and willing to learn to join their thriving company. The role’s responsibilities will include:

  • Answering the phone
  • Responding to emails
  • Responding to enquiries from social media accounts
  • Printing and Scanning
  • Working with confidential information
  • Updating CRM
  • Providing quick responses to internal and external customers
  • Use of initiative to solve problems
  • Managing customer accounts including invoicing
  • Allocating work to teams based on skills and availability
  • Stock management
  • Develop customer relationships and manage customer expectations

Working week

  • 38 Hours per week, Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm

Desired skills

  • Previous administration experience desirable but not essential
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate with experience of both Microsoft Word and Excel

Desired qualifications

  • GCSE maths and English A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent
  • Business Admin Level 2 (desirable but not essential)

Future prospects

  • The successful candidate should have a desire to progress and will be supported with their personal development
  • There is potential to progress onto a higher level course upon completion of Level 3

Training to be provided

Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

  • Internal telephone systems
  • Internal software packages
  • Microsoft programs (Word and Excel)
  • Overview of business operations, policies and procedures
  • Health and Safety

Functional Skills maths & English, if required
