Job Description

We are seeking an Administrator to join our Professional Services Team, supporting the School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Law and the School of Arts and Creative Industries.  We are looking for a highly organised individual, who has experience of working in a dynamic environment and enjoys working as part of a team.

The postholder will manage student data across multiple cohorts and intake points, coordinate placement information, maintain programme and module records, and support online course enrolment and progression. Acting as a key point of contact for students, academic staff and external partners, the role ensures accurate record keeping, timely communication and consistently high service delivery. It plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements, contributing to Data Assurance reporting, audit readiness and risk mitigation, while supporting a high-quality student experience through responsive and reliable administrative support.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a collaborative and supportive team, where your contributions will directly enhance the experience of both students and staff. If you take pride in delivering excellent customer service, have strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you.

Please note:

CVs alone will not be considered. You must complete the application form in full.

If you don’t quite meet the criteria for this post, please keep an eye on our job vacancies page—other opportunities may be a better match for your skills and experience.

Please be advised that due to the minimum salary thresholds imposed by the UKVI, this post will not qualify for university sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.

The position we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a satisfactory DBS disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required as part of our clearance procedures.

Please note that the University may ask you to participate in a number of selection activities as part of the recruitment process for this vacancy.

If you are shortlisted, your interview will take place online via Microsoft Teams.

Interviews will take place on 29 May 2026.
