Fresh Start Project CIC seeks an Adult Wellbeing Support Apprentice to help residents develop daily living and independent living skills. Working alongside experienced staff in a supportive, person-centred environment, you will promote wellbeing, build confidence, and use a trauma-informed approach to support independence.
What you’ll do at work
As an Adult wellbeing support Apprentice, you will be part of the team at Fresh Start CIC, supporting individuals in a caring, inclusive, and recovery-focused environment while completing your Level 2 Apprenticeship.
You will gain hands-on experience and develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed to provide high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the service to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment
- Maintaining health and safety Adhering to HMO licence regulation
- Encouraging and supporting individuals to take part in activities that promote independence, confidence, and social inclusion
- Completing all fire prevention documentation
- Assisting with meal preparation, serving food, and supporting individuals to eat and drink where required
- Promoting independence by encouraging individuals to develop life skills and make choices about their daily lives
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control
- Keeping accurate records and updating care plans in line with organisational policies
- Communicating effectively with individuals, colleagues, families, and external professionals
- Following safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality procedures at all times
