Job Description
Summary:
This role is primarily responsible for performing aircraft maintenance, repair and modification tasks under supervision at the WASL Teesside facility.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification tasks
- Accurately record all work performed on the appropriate maintenance records such as worksheets / task cards
- Comply with procedures detailed within the Maintenance Organisation Expositions and any associated documentation
- Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures and COSHH requirements
- When not assigned to aircraft work, fully utilise available time productively to support the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility
- Perform any additional duties or tasks as directed by the Base Maintenance Manager
- Actively support and promote a positive safety learning culture through the reporting of occurrences and potential hazards and by adopting continuous improvement and human factors principles with their work
Requirements:
- Aeronautical apprenticeship or recognised national qualification in aircraft maintenance
- Minimum of 4 years aircraft maintenance experience
- Be able to demonstrate an organised approach to daily job tasks
- Can demonstrate a high level of skill across multiple disciplines, such as mechanical, structural, and power plant tasks
- Knowledge of maintenance standards
- Knowledge and ability to use aircraft maintenance data
- Initial Human Factors (HF) training
- Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) training
- Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS) training
- English Language proficiency (Written & Spoken)

The hours are currently 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (40 hours per week). Whilst there is currently no shift pattern this could change in the future.
