Job Description

Overall Objective:

To assist with the organisation, coordination and management of training and development that support Esh Group’s operations across the North East, and Yorkshire and to provide administrative support to the Training Manager.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Work closely with Esh Group staff, clients, supply chain and associated businesses to ensure smooth coordination of training and development
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
  • Scanning and storage of documents
  • Answering the telephone and dealing with a wide variety of queries
  • Text delegates to remind them of the date, time and venue to training
  • To maintain accurate electronic records of training and development using the ETS database
  • Input new starters onto the training database, check their current training records and plan shortfall as a priority
  • To maintain training rooms to ensure environment conducive to learning
  • To maintain accurate records in relation to training and development in order to provide information and evidence as required to the Business Development Team for PQQ and Tender submissions
  • Assist HSEQ team in general administration issues
  • Assist in raising the profile of training and development within the Group
  • Ensure professional communication at all times
  • Complete the apprenticeship framework in line with individual learning plan

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s A – C or equivalent including maths and English desirable

  • Able to follow instructions

  • Legible handwriting
