Brief overview of the role
Nixon Safety is looking for someone to help grow their well-established business. You will be working as a business administrator to help provide support to their team and their customers. You will also be dealing with bookings and payments. This role would suit a self-motivated individual with high levels of energy and attention to detail.
What will the apprentice be doing?
To provide an efficient and effective administration support function to the admin team. These duties include:
- Dealing with bookings
- Dealing with payments
- Answer each incoming telephone call in a warm, sincere, friendly, professional way
- Make any internal and external calls needed after receiving instruction from managers or team members
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems working on ways to improve the systems
- Archiving files both digitally and paper-based
- Dealing with customer queries in a timely manner
- Issuing Invoices to customers
- Using online computer system
- Checking emails regularly to ensure a quick response
- Dealing with post
- Any other duties as and when required
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 3 Business Administration at Stockton Riverside College.
- Functional Skills maths & English, if required.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- An opportunity for a full-time position at the end of the apprenticeship.
Working week
35 Hours, Monday to Friday, hours to be confirmed.
