Brief overview of the role
MP Plant Training are looking for an apprentice to assist with the paperwork for their training as well as booking customers in for their courses. The ideal candidate will be able to use their own initiative and have excellent customer service skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to earn a salary and gain a level 3 qualification.
What will the apprentice be doing?
In this role you will be completing all required tasks surrounding the training that the company offers, some of which include:
- Scanning test paperwork and saving it in the database.
- Replying to emails from customers and responding to any enquiries they may have.
- Booking in training and confirming with the client.
- Managing a busy diary system.
- Using Microsoft Office applications.
- Organising post logs and arranging the post to be sent out.
- Printing and organising the training packs for the instructors.
- Data input, filing and photocopying.
- Answering phone calls and passing them to the appropriate department.
- Archiving and updating files both digitally and paper-based.
- Assisting colleagues when needed.
- General admin duties.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 3 Business Administration at Stockton Riverside College.
- Functional skills maths & English, if required.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
An opportunity for a full-time position at the end of the apprenticeship.
Working week
37.50 Hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.
