Job summary

Improving digital infrastructure is a priority for the government, and this high profile analytical role will offer the opportunity to develop and drive the analysis which underpins the Government’s work.

The role sits within the Digital Infrastructure Analysis Team which consists of c.25 analysts. The team works with senior policy makers within DCMS and across Whitehall, as well as our partners (including Ofcom and the industry), to help deliver policy commitments and ensure a competitive telecoms market that maximises investment, innovation, quality of service, choice and value for money.

Job description

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the Telecoms Diversification policy area  to develop and quantify effective policy interventions, build our evidence base, provide economic insight to influence policy decision-making, and assess the impact of our work on the mobile telecoms market.

Qualifications: 2:1 degree in Economics or MSc Economics (if you achieved a 2:2 in your undergraduate degree or studied another subject). OR 2:1 degree in a subject with a significant quantitative component
