About us Falcon Performance:
· We are a highly successful multi award winning independent automotive specialist workshop based in Middlesbrough and we pride ourselves on being the best equipped and up to date workshop in the North of England. We are currently looking to recruit within our mechanical workshop and have excellent opportunities available.
· We specialise in servicing / maintaining and advanced diagnostic fault finding including basic and advanced repairs on Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Landrover, Mercedes Benz, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen vehicles. We also run a separate division for the maintenance and servicing of all supercar manufactures including Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche vehicles to name a few.
· We are a Hella approved repair partner having the latest ADAS calibration equipment along with the Hella Mega Mac 77 diagnostic platform.
· We are a 18-year Autologic Pro user running 7 Autologic advanced diagnostic platforms for all manufactures.
· All current and future Falcon Vehicle Technicians are trained on the use of the latest manufactures dealer level online diagnostic equipment such as BMW ISTA, Mercedes Benz XENTRY, Porsche PXN and VAG O.D.I.S and are all IMI certified vehicle technicians. Further training is available to advance the knowledge and experience of the suitable candidate.
The Role (Diagnostic Expert):
· Ability to use all of Falcons diagnostic platforms including the ability to carry out software updates on the diagnostic platforms daily.
· Ability to work closely online, over the phone and remotely (when necessary) with Autologic and Hella Master Technicians who will support you from fault to fix as efficiently as possible (if required)
· Ability to read / interpret, fault codes and wiring diagrams, fault find and repair faults.
· Attend training courses to advance knowledge and skills to stay up to date with all future advances within our industry
· Familiar with the use of ADAS equipment (beneficial but not essential as Hella IMI certified training will be provided).
· 45 hours per week

Preferred candidates will have one of the following:
· BMW/Mini, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, SEAT, Skoda or Volkswagen experience – an advantage but willing and able to work on all makes and models.
· Hold a full UK driving licence.

Salary:
The annual salary for the Diagnostic expert position is £44,000 OTE subject to skills and experience (not fixed, reviewed every 6 months)
