About the employer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a business administration apprentice within their Middlesbrough Head Office. Working under the supervision of the Admin Supervisor, you will have good computer literacy and have an interest in being a team player and becoming part of a fast-growing company with a great culture of team work. Working alongside their technical staff, chartered surveyors and admin team, you will be undertaking a number of office support functions as well as data entry. Acting for solicitors on behalf of tenants making claims against their landlord, you should have a strong sense of right and wrong and an interest in helping everyone within our society gain access to justice.

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Assisting the team with general admin duties such as answering calls, taking messages and filing
  • Provide Administrative support for surveyors i.e. setting up and scheduling appointments and diary management
  • To use multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation in order to: write emails, record and analyse data and edit reports
  • Assist in the production of accurate reports and documents including sending out email reminders and following ups
  • Maintaining records and files accurately
  • Handling confidential information in compliance with the organisation’s procedures
  • To work as part of a quick and faced-paced environment and working towards KPI’s
  • Builds and maintains effective working positive relationships within the team and across the organisation
  • Managing priorities and time to meet deadlines

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Business Admin L3 Apprenticeship Qualification
  • Training will be all in house and you will be allocated protected time to do this
  • Training will take place over the course of each working week
