What will the apprentice be doing?

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

You will support both the Maintenance and Facilities teams with administrative tasks such as preparing statistical reports and addressing routine information requests.

Gathers, compiles and verifies information and enters in accurately into documents such as reports, presentations and manages office systems such as databases and trackers.

Assists with associate functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings.

Prepares documentation for payment of vendors, suppliers and other third parties as applicable; submits documentation and enters request for payments into accounting system; responds to inquiries from accounts payable and payees.

Department administrator of Facilities management software system – gathering, recording & reporting data as well as supporting in the sites management of change process.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
  • In-house training and mentoring support

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

This is a temporary position for 2 years and you will enrol onto a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship.
