What will the apprentice be doing?
- Monitor our workforce’s compliance with current healthcare and employment legislation
- Keep our workforce’s personnel files up to date
- Assist with the development and delivery of workforce education programmes
- Assist the mangers within the organisation with the implementation of new and/or refreshed policies
- Keep up-to-date with organisational policy and advise on any changes necessitated by changes in legislation and/or the needs of the organisation
- Compile reports for the managers and for other teams within H&SH where appropriate
- Attend training and/or promotional events which may fall outside of your normal working hours
- Performing general office administration duties
- Reporting
- Use patient administration systems
- Workforce education
- Working within GP Practices
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional Skills in maths and English, if required
- End Point Assessment
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Potential for full-time role for the right candidate depending on staff turnover
