Nicander Limited are seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic Business Administration apprentice to join their team. The successful candidate will gain a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration.

What will the apprentice be doing?

As a Business Admin Apprentice/Assistant you will work with the Office Manager to provide support to the wider company. You will be the first point of contact for incoming calls and dealing with visitors. You will have a wide variety of work as this role will be based across the whole company and not one individual department.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Basic Bookkeeping
  • Reception duties – answering incoming calls, dealing with visitors/deliveries etc.
  • General support for the finance department
  • General administrative duties across the company as a whole
  • General ad-hoc support for other departments e.g., PMO, Marketing etc.
  • Assisting with organising staff events
  • Assisting with organising travel
  • Ad hoc holiday cover as required

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard

  • Day release at College/Training Provider
  • On and off the job training

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Depending on the circumstances of the business upon completion of the apprenticeship programme there could be a potential position of employment available.
