Job Description

Our client is a leading provider in the industrial process equipment sector. They are committed to service excellence and forging strong relationships with their clients. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager to join their dynamic commercial team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Growth: Support the expansion of the company in line with strategic plans and targets
  • Market Research: Identify and explore new market opportunities
  • Client Relations: Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring ongoing support and communication
  • Account Management: Manage key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
  • Technical Liaison: Collaborate with engineering teams to formulate and amend proposals based on customer specifications
  • Customer Visits: Conduct UK-wide customer visits, including site inspections and measurements of heat exchange and related process equipment
  • Product Knowledge: Advise customers on the features, functions, and benefits of the company’s process equipment
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships
  • Networking: Attend industrial events, conferences, and exhibitions to expand professional networks

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong commitment to service excellence and customer relationships
  • Broad knowledge of industrial process equipment
  • Understanding of different industrial sectors and key machinery providers
  • Basic understanding of heat transfer equipment
  • Proven sales experience
