Job Description
Hiring a buyer with experience and an interest in working for a leading European contract manufacturer of high-quality fine chemicals, for a six-month fixed term contract. Whilst a chemistry background gives you an advantage our client would also like to hear from people willing to learn, who see this as a career opportunity.
You will be responsible for all aspects of packaged and bulk chemical and utility purchasing across a large portfolio of raw materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery, adherence to safety regulations and customer satisfaction.
With drive and enthusiasm, you will have strong relationship building skills and the ability to maintain, create and improve connections to support compliance with customer requirements, regulatory bodies and company policies.
You will work effectively to negotiate new contracts and monitor procurement though KPIs.
