Job Description
Due to continuous growth, we are recruiting for a Civil & Structural Construction Lead (North) to join a landmark energy project in Teesside. This role has full responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of construction works North of the River, including major infrastructure across complex, live operating environments.
The Works Include
- Delivery of the North site compound
- Installation of a 6km CO₂ pipeline across upper-tier COMAH sites
- Construction of multiple Above Ground Installations (AGIs), including gas metering and CO₂ connections
This is a high-profile leadership role requiring strong coordination across multiple contractors, stakeholders and interfaces within a live industrial environment. This role will be based full time on site in Teesside.

Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, readiness and execution of all works North of the River
- Own construction delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to required quality
- Drive construction readiness and control of work processes
- Manage and coordinate Facilities Contractors and subcontractors
- Resolve delivery challenges and remove blockers to progress
- Ensure alignment with bp requirements and Costain standards
- Work closely with Package Managers to integrate across multiple contract interfaces

Qualifications
About you
- Proven experience leading construction delivery on major infrastructure or energy projects
- Strong background in brownfield / live operating environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contractors and complex interfaces
- Deep understanding of safe systems of work, construction planning and execution
- Confident leader with the ability to drive performance and accountability
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Qualifications
- IOSH / SMSTS (or equivalent)
- Relevant CSCS / CCNSG card
- Appropriate construction / engineering background
