Post: Counter Corruption Prevent Officer

Salary: Scale 4 / 5 – £21,837 – £26,565

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Wynyard – with the requirement for travel to other locations within the Force area (with some flexibility for home working)


Applications are invited for the post of Counter Corruption Prevent Officer based at Wynyard.


As post holder, will provide advice and guidance to prevent and mitigate the impact of corruption.  You will be involved in the education and promotion of preventative measures that allow individuals, partners and the force to protect against corruption threats.  You will also provide information and presentations on behalf of Cleveland Police, both internally within the organisation and to partners.

You will be experienced in providing advice and guidance around areas pertaining to mitigating corruption, and have experience of working within a counter corruption environment.  Having experience of working with partner and voluntary agencies is essential as well as an ability to build networks with both.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills is also essential, with the ability to deliver presentations and write clear and concise reports.
