We are seeking to appoint an energetic individual with a strong commitment to working with young people in an educational setting.
The successful candidate will manage cover throughout the academy, cover lessons of any subject, set high expectations to motivate and challenge students whilst managing behavior effectively whilst promoting a positive learning environment. In periods where cover is not required, the successful candidate will support in the classroom as directed.
Outwood Academy Ormesby places students at the centre of everything it does, with a focus on creating a culture of success, a positive climate for learning, and increased student outcomes whilst developing their social and emotional resilience.
The successful candidate should have Level 2 Qualifications in English and Maths or equivalent and be keen to undergo further development/education. Organisational skills and competency on a PC is advantageous, however full training and support will be given for the right candidate.
