Post: Fleet Operations Assistant

Salary: Scale 5 – £24,576 – £26,565

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Cleveland Police Central HQ, Hemlington, Middlesbrough (with flexibility for some home working)


Applications are invited for the post of Fleet Operations Assistant.


Cleveland Police are seeking candidates who have knowledge and experience of Fleet processes and systems, to work as part of a small but busy department where you will support in the efficient and cost-effective provision of a Fleet service to the Force.  Candidates must be organised and methodical, whilst also showing an ability to work flexibly to meet changing priorities and demands.


You will liaise with fleet suppliers and related services and partnerships, so experience in working with partners and building professional relationships with them is essential.  Candidates must have a track record of being able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.


You must be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills and whilst not essential it would be advantageous to have experience of purchasing ERP systems.
