Post: Fleet Technical Officer

Salary: SO 1 / 2 – £33,915 – £39,036

Hours: 37 Hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Wynyard (with some flexibility for working from home where appropriate and agreed by Fleet Manager)

 

Applications are invited for the post of Fleet Technical Officer, based within the Fleet and Procurement team at Wynyard.

 

As a Fleet Technical Officer you will support the Fleet Manager in the provision of a technically effective and value for money Fleet service to the force, ensuring services are delivered in an appropriate quality and timely manner, to force standards and in a legally compliant manner.

 

Cleveland Police are seeking applicants who can demonstrate their knowledge of vehicle related legislation, and posses a track record of dealing effectively with Fleet suppliers and related services and partnerships.  Candidates must be experienced in Technical Fleet Management, including accident management processes and vehicle manufacture service programmes.

 

This is a small but busy team, where you will be able to showcase your professionalism and expertise within Fleet to provide an outstanding service, ensuring legislative requirements, reporting on weekly and monthly control information, and providing technical advice and support in a number of areas.
