About the Role:
As a Food Technician you will work closely with the Technology department to deliver an efficient and effective support service to staff and students. You will be responsible for the preparation of materials required for the lesson, working collaboratively with the Teacher and Head of Department to ensure stock is managed effectively and all workstations are at an acceptable standard.
As a Technician you will also support the teaching and learning in the classroom, working with students on both a small group and whole class basis.
Previous experience in an education environment, dealing with preparation for food lessons and assisting with practical lessons would be an advantage but is not essential.
