Post: Force Control Room (FCR) Trainer

Salary: Scale 6 / SO 1 – £27,432 – £32,394

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Kirkleatham, Redcar

 

Applications are invited for the post of Force Control Room (FCR) Trainer based at Kirkleatham, Redcar.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small and dedicated training team which provides high quality training for the Force’s Control Room.  You will be responsible in all aspects from the design and development of the training to the delivery.

 

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about training and enabling staff to reach their potential.  The role is varied, and you will be responsible for numerous areas such as initial student training for new joiners into Force Control Room, as well as identifying training goals for existing staff members, alongside updating training in line with new policy and legislation.

 

You will need to be an effective communicator, possess experience from a contact centre environment and be able to demonstrate up to date knowledge on relevant legislation.

 

It would be advantageous if applicants also had experience of training needs analysis and course design as well as holding a level 3 certificate in Learning and Development.
