Job Description
The position is part time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 1pm, i.e. 25 hours per week.
Some flexibility may be required, and some overtime is possible.
Duties comprise:
– Maintenance and repair work (internal and external)
– Painting and cosmetic repairs to site (internal and external)
– General site cleaning
– Operation/maintenance of ice plant and forklift, including delivery of ice to fishing vessels (training will be provided)
– Gas oil sales to fishing boats
– Manage chandlery sales and stock control
– Undertake site checks including lights, emergency lighting/exits, reading meters etc
– Operation of forklift truck for general loading and unloading (training can be provided if necessary).
