Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of an overarching marketing and communications strategy, alongside marketing campaigns across the Group, with clear KPIs, evaluation measures, activities, and budgets.
- Develop, produce, and maintain a full range of marketing products and services, including direct marketing activities, literature, display materials, websites, and other promotional assets.
- Maintain, improve, and develop digital platforms and content to engage online audiences and drive traffic while promoting opportunities across the Tees Valley.
- Assist in the dissemination of clear marketing and communications activity.
- Plan and deliver events from start to finish in line with requirements, target audiences, and objectives.
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop relationships, deliver priorities, raise the profile of the region, and maximise exposure and impact, ensuring the Tees Valley Combined Authority Group remains a positive and active partner.
- Maintain formal and informal networks across the Tees Valley Combined Authority Group and with the five local authorities to keep the Marketing and Communications Team informed of relevant activities.
- Procure (where necessary) and manage market research projects to identify potential business growth sectors and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activity in raising awareness.
- Manage social media channels through scheduling software and content creation, working closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure key messages are communicated effectively.
- Deputise for the line manager when required.
- Manage project budgets and ensure value for money.
- Undertake any other duties deemed reasonable and necessary to fulfil the responsibilities of the role and undertake any required training.
- Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and cooperate with management to ensure compliance with health and safety policies and legislative requirements.
- Work flexibly and undertake other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the grade and nature of the post.
- Ensure compliance with Corporate Governance procedures, procurement regulations, the Data Protection Act, and the Employee Code of Conduct.
