An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety Manager to join our Estates team reporting to our Head of Estates, The Estates team work across all of our sites to ensure safe, comfortable and operational environments, whilst based out of one site the ability to travel to all sites within the group is essential to develop knowledge of the group and the ETC estate
As a H&SL with Etc. you will be responsible for Health and Safety delivery across the ETC estate. Promote and embed a proactive safety culture through positive engagement on site. Provide advice, support and guidance on all aspects of HSEQ planning and operations to ensure compliance and standards are maintained; and promote and deliver procedural changes to align with good, safe working practices
The ideal candidate will have skills and experience with, enforcing changes to working practices ensuring compliance with legislation. Confident in implementing regimes to update Health and Safety Polices and Assessments. Develop internal procedures in line with ETC Health and Safety Policies. Advise on a range of specialist areas such as Fire, Hazardous Substances, Water, Noise, Hydrogen and Radiation and be prepared to undertake training to develop knowledge. Lead investigations using appropriate Root Cause Analysis techniques. Ensure compliance with environmental permits, standards, statutory guidance and consents relevant to sites.

Schedule
- Predominantly Monday to Friday 9-5, 37hrs office hours
- Flexible lunch breaks
