Job Description

Redcar and Cleveland College is a vibrant, forward-facing college which offers high-quality standards of education, and as such we are proud to serve our local community by helping people gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to reach their full potential.

Our staff are skilled, high performing and committed to our learners and we now wish to appoint several dynamic Learning Support Assistants who share this commitment.

 

You will be providing support students who may have specific learning difficulties such as Dyslexia, Autism and General Learning Difficulties.

The successful candidates will be:

  • Experienced in working with young people, some of whom may display behaviours of concern or are able to demonstrate transferable skills from another employment area.
  • Enthusiastic and highly committed to improving the learning attainments and employment opportunities of young people.

The closing date for receipt of completed application is midnight 31st January 2023.

 

Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide details of all unspent convictions and those that would not be filtered, prior to the date of the interview.  Successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure by the DBS.
