This position forms part of the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) programme which is part funded by Innovate UK. This position is for a 14 month fixed term contract, employed by Teesside University but working at Ford Aerospace premises day to day. Your role will be to work with the company and academic team to develop new product and systems to enhance Ford’s materials science innovation capabilities which utilise state-of-the-art adhesive bonding and conversion coating techniques. This will enable the creation of new products which will support significant business growth.
The appointed candidate will have access to a dedicated training budget tailored towards their personal development, access to industry leading technology and supervision from a leading academic research team from Teesside University.
Please be advised that due to the minimum salary thresholds imposed by the UKVI, this post may qualify for University sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
