Job Description
We are recruiting an L&D Advisor to join our client based in Greatham, Hartlepool.
This is a 6-month contract with the potential to go long term/permanent, offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work for a leading global Chemical Manufacturing Company.
You will be managing the delivery and administration of the site’s training requirements, working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with ensuring that all mandatory training is carried out
- Support to identify training needs and create personal development plans
- Source and evaluate external training providers
- Continuously monitor and review the effectiveness and success of current training programmes
- Manage the apprenticeship programme, coordinate work experience and placement programmes for school and college students
- Update skills matrices, manage the L&D online platform and maintain employee training records, compile and present learning and development data
- Ensure that all internal and external training is recorded accurately
Required Competencies:
- Previous HR or L&D experience
- Qualification in Learning and Development or CIPD
- Understanding of the full training cycle, with a demonstrable background of carrying out training needs analysis and developing training plans
- Strong IT, organisational and administration skills
- Experience of working on LMS systems
