About the Role

Our high achieving Residential Property team is our largest department, and it is continuing to grow!

You will be joining a dedicated team of nearly 30 staff, who work across both our Stockton-on-Tees and Newcastle offices.

Based at our Stockton office, you will work in a welcoming team of experienced fee earners, secretaries and administration support staff. You will provide efficient secretarial support to our Be-Spoke team and your duties will include:

  • Corresponding with clients and external organisations
  • Producing and amending legal documents
  • Opening and updating client files on our practice management system (Proclaim)
  • Carrying out ID and money laundering checks
  • Ordering property searches and carrying out Land Registry Searches
  • Preparing client bills and completion statements

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will:

  • Be a strong administrator, ideally with prior experience of working in a Conveyancing environment
  • Have excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and database systems
  • Be highly organised and hard working
  • Have great communication skills and be able to work well in a team
  • Be able to pick up new skills and systems easily
  • Have strong initiative skills and a “can-do” approach
  • Have a keen eye for detail and be able to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy
  • Have a professional and confident telephone manner
