We’re seeking a highly skilled Mechanical/Construction Superintendent to join our client’s team for a full-time 37.5 hour per week, 6 to 12-month contract based in Billingham.

As Mechanical/Construction Superintendent, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring they’re completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
You will be:
- Supervising and managing all aspects of mechanical and construction operations on-site
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
- Conducting regular inspections and assessments of construction sites
- Providing guidance and support to construction teams and subcontractors
- Monitoring project progress and report on any issues or delays
You will need:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical/Construction Superintendent or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
