An Exciting opportunity has arisen within the Radiology departments at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an opportunity for an MRI assistant to join our expert teams within the MRI specialist modality with a requirement for rotation between all South Tees NHS Hospital sites.

The role will incorporate a 7 day working week with core hours of 8am-8pm.

Main duties of the job

Main duties will include preparing patients prior to their scans; assisting the patients throughout their time within the department. Assisting the Radiographers in maintaining an efficient daily worklist and dealing with patient queries and appointments.

Leadership and Improvement Training

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust; this training programme has been designed to support our leaders in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills. Qualifications

Essential

  • Level 1 in Maths and English
  • NVQ Level 3 in Healthcare Care or equivalent experience

Knowledge & Experience

  • Ability to demonstrate person centred care
  • Able to describe behaviours and skills of a carer
  • Previous experience of working with the public
  • A team player able to work well with others and demonstrate commitment to team objectives
