Brief overview of the role

IMH are recruiting for a Operations apprentice to join their ever growing company. In this role you will need to have effective control and security of their stores facility, and timely ordering of stock, project goods and materials.

Key Duties

General:

  • Drive and promote health, safety, environmental and quality standards
  • Drive and promote the company mission, vision and value

Stores:

  • Day to day responsibility for stores facility including cleaning, tidying, etc.
  • Checking stores inventory to ensure correct levels at all times
  • Management of stock request forms
  • Regular updating of stores database via company ERP system

Procurement:

  • Ordering of stock replacements and project specific requests
  • Support existing supplier contract agreements
  • Set up and amend framework agreements with suppliers as requir
  • Tracking and tracing of orders once placed
  • Contact for goods inward, checking, querying or accepting goods in line with company processes
  • Ensure that discounts are maximised and prices are minimised as far as possible; manage supplier relationships

Other:

  • Despatch of materials (including logistics) in a timely manner
  • Continuous updating of records on company ERP system
  • Invoicing of customers in line with company processes
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required

Working week

  • 40 hours, Monday to Friday, hours to be confirmed
