Post: Out of Court Resolution (OOCR) Officer

Salary: Scale 5 – £27,789 – £29,874

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract until 31.05.2025

Location: Middlesbrough

If so, we would encourage you to submit an application for the post of Out of Court Resolution (OOCR) Officer.

 

You will work as part of a small team to review cases regarding their suitability for finalisation using Out of Court Resolution.  You will use evidence based practice to support the development of the OOCR Hub, delivering relevant interventions and embed restorative justice and reparative approaches throughout Cleveland Police.  Working closely with a wide range of partners will be an integral part of the role, developing and maintaining excellent working relationships demonstrating an open, transparent and supportive foundation for implementing change.

 

We are seeking candidates who have knowledge of Restorative Justice, Out of Court Resolution and processes for Adult and Youth Offenders.  You will be experienced in liaising with victims, considering their needs and ensuring regular updates.  The post holder must be adept at problem solving, possessing an innovative and proactive approach.
