Combining strength, flexibility, coordination and confidence-building, inclusive Pole Fitness sessions at Teesside University attract students from a wide range of backgrounds, abilities and experience levels.
Sessions aim to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where students can challenge themselves, develop new skills and be part of a vibrant community.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspiring Pole Fitness Instructor for the 2026/27 academic year. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop the programme, delivering weekly sessions that cater for both beginners and more experienced participants.
The successful candidate will hold an appropriate Pole Fitness Instructor qualification and have the ability to create engaging, inclusive and progressive sessions for a diverse student audience. You will be responsible for designing and delivering the programme, encouraging participation, supporting individual development and helping students achieve their personal fitness goals.
Working in partnership with the Teesside Sport team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the Pole Fitness offer, contributing ideas, evaluating participation and helping to ensure the programme remains innovative, accessible and responsive to student needs.
