Job Description

The Prince’s Trust TEAM programme is a 12-week personal development course aimed at young people aged 16-25 who are currently unemployed.  The fast paced, dynamic course focuses on progression and employability with the view of moving young people onto positive outcomes. Princes Trust Stockton Riverside College

Our staff are skilled, high performing and committed to our learners and we now wish to appoint several dynamic Prince’s Trust Learning Support Assistants who share this commitment. You will be providing support to young people who can often demonstrate challenging behaviour, may have specific learning difficulties such as Autism, and may have mental health issues.  There are four vacancies based at Bishop Auckland, Darlington, Catterick and Middlesbrough.

The successful candidates will be:

  • Experienced in working with young people, some of whom may display behaviours of concern or are able to demonstrate transferable skills from another employment area.
  • Robust, resilient and able to support young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • Enthusiastic and highly committed to improving the learning attainments and employment opportunities of young people.

3 x 12 week courses, 35 hours per week

(Possible course start dates: 19/09/2022 or 26/09/2022, 16/01/2023 and 08/05/2023)
