The role…
Report to the Procurement Manager supporting with the delivery of procurement activities such as preparation of tender documents, coordination of evaluation meetings with internal teams, contract start up meetings with suppliers etc. supporting effective business partnering you will engage with end users to understand their requirements, working to help build specification information for tendering. Working towards being able to deliver a personal caseload of procurement matters across the group.
Under the terms of a group services agreement the TVCA Procurement provides procurement advice and support to the Group, ultimately to support the delivery of the ambitions of the region’s strategic economic plan.?
The successful candidate will…
- Understand the departments plans and manage their delivery.
- Understand the needs of relevant stakeholders and communicate progress & outcomes.
- Have the ability to adapt their communication style in response to others and the situation.
- Use their management experience to ensure individuals understand the contribution they can make to the overall team, corporate and service objectives.
