Job Description
Overall Objective:
To successfully commercially manage a number of new build and refurbishment schemes, being responsible for either a single, or team, of quantity surveyors, depending on business requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
- Engender good relations between existing and prospective Clients
- Reporting results to commercial management team on a timely basis
- Act as mentor, demonstrating best practice standards for Quantity Surveyors
- Day to day line management responsibility for a team of Quantity Surveyors
- Ability to manage multiple sites
- Plan Coordinate monitor work of Quantity Surveyors

Experience & Qualifications:
- Quantity Surveying Degree preferable
- At least 7 years occupational experience in Quantity Surveying environment
- Experience of having worked on a variety of building contracts, in particular JCT design and build contracts and other JCT forms, NEC contracts and other partnering forms of contract
- Proven track record of working on both refurbishment and new build schemes
- In this dynamic business unit the ability to work to deadlines is essential
- Clear understanding of contractual terms and conditions both sub-contract and main contract
