Student and Library Services (SLS) currently have an exciting opportunity to join our fantastic team as a temporary Senior Student and Library Services Assistant, covering a period of maternity leave.
In this role you will deliver exceptional front-line customer support to the University community through our Student Life offer and also support the delivery of University Library services. As a Senior Assistant you will have play a key role in supervising the Engagement and Experience Team and Student Engagement Assistant Team and will contribute to key areas of service delivery.
The role will enable you to develop your supervisory skills and gain valuable experience to support the exciting next steps of your career path.
Key elements of the role include
- Delivering and supervising the Team to deliver, excellent customers support and the promotion of student services.
- Supervising the triaging of queries through UNIverse, our online customer management system
- Supporting the Team to maintain and develop Library collections and learning spaces.
- Supporting customers in their use of Library systems and IT services
- Deliver and supervise student engagement activities.
We are seeking an individual who can be flexible in their approach to work as the role will include regular pre. 9am; evening working and weekend working.
Please be advised that due to the minimum salary thresholds imposed by the UKVI, this post will not qualify for University sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
