Job Description
The post of Student Adviser (Disabilities) requires one to one working with disabled students to assess need and decide on appropriate reasonable adjustments to support study activities.
The post holder should have experience in the following areas:
- One to one working with students or service users
- Significant knowledge in the area of disability
- Experience deciding on reasonable adjustments
- Experience creating and presenting training to raise disability awareness
- A compassionate approach when working with students or service users
- Knowledge of potential barriers that students might face in higher education
