Think Ahead’s two-year graduate programme includes:
- Train on the job, working alongside clinical professionals in NHS Mental Health Trusts and Local Authorities.
- Gain two qualifications: qualify as a social worker and earn a master’s degree from Middlesex University.

In your first year on the programme, you’ll be paid a tax-free bursary of £18,000 (or £20,000 with London weighting), for the first 14 months. In the second year, you will be employed by your host organisation, your exact salary will depend on the NHS Trust or Local Authority employing you, typically ranging from around £21,000 – £33,000, location dependent.
