Our staff are skilled, high performing and committed to our learners and we now wish to appoint a dynamic Welfare Officer (Children in Our Care) who shares this commitment.

 

You will provide a single point of contact for all Children in Our Care across all college sites. You will provide seamless support from pre-entry to post-completion of education journey for Children in Our Care. In collaboration with Curriculum Departments, Advanced Safeguarding Practitioners and the wider Student Support & Wellbeing Team, you will prepare necessary information for all Personal Education Plan (PEP) meetings, attend as required and provide feedback to the team about learner need. You will keep accurate records on the college systems and provide reports on the impact of interventions with learners on a regular basis.

 

The postholder will be required to work at any Group site as and when needed.
