Brief overview of the role
A Star Accountancy – The successful candidate would ensure the proper flow of internal office procedures, support the directors of the business by carrying out general office duties. The successful candidate would maintain a positive and friendly company image acting as the first line of contact to clients, visitors, in person and via telephone.
Vacancy description
Key Duties:
- Communicates with relevant businesses/individuals, to produce travel itineraries for business directors and employee events
- Arranges meetings by scheduling appropriate meeting times, booking rooms, and planning refreshments
- Manages correspondence by answering emails and sorting mail
- Manages reception area and looks after visitors
- Answers phone calls and transfers them as necessary
- Drafts, formats, and prints relevant documents
- Interacts with directors and carries out their requests
- Creates agendas and takes meeting notes
- Manages outgoing post and records data on special deliveries
- Photocopies and files appropriate documents as needed
- General administration duties as required in line with the day to day needs of the business
Working week
- 37 hours, Monday – Thursday, 9.00am -5.00pm and Friday, 9.00am – 2.00pm

Future prospects
- The successful candidate will have a real prospect, after completion of the initial apprenticeship, for further training. The role may well develop into an ‘office manager’ position with an above average annual salary to be negotiated
