Job Description

Brief overview of the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and driven individual who is able to work on their own initiative and really thrive in our busy and ever-growing industry. The ideal candidate will have a confident and professional phone manner and good communication skills.

What you will do in your working day

You will be provided with all the tools and templates necessary to undertake the job, including relevant database with contact information, templates and formats to record progress and structured marketing material for follow-up emails. You will also be given a familiarization training and an induction session before you start.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting for new customers via tele-calling
  • Follow-up emails
  • Appointment setting
  • Tracking and reporting of progress
  • Use social media to target potential customers e.g. LinkedIn etc.
  • Generate new leads
  • Promote the company’s services
  • Identify the customer needs and requirements
  • Work towards accomplishing goals
  • Maintain the database
  • Maintain & improve current sales techniques to enhance your overall performance
  • Be proactive in your approach to work & getting the owner in front of new business
  • Assisting colleagues

The training you will be getting

  • Level 3 Business Administration qualification at Stockton Riverside College
  • Functional skills maths & English, if required
  • Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • An opportunity for a full-time position at the end of the apprenticeship.

Working week

40 hours, Monday to Friday, shifts to be confirmed.

Things to consider

This apprenticeship will be all on the job and you will only need to come into the college once for pre-screening.
