Job Description

We have an opportunity for an ICT Infrastructure Specialist to join our client based in Stockton, supporting with the overall management, delivery, and deployment of all server systems.

This is a full-time permanent role with an attractive salary on offer working for a Company with over 25 years’ experience providing operations management, engineering services and energy management solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, maintain and support on-premises and infrastructure systems
  • Manage monitoring and optimisation of the infrastructure platforms
  • Review capacity requirements and manage capacity
  • Document and maintain configuration for the design, configuration, routines, processes and tools of ICT estate
  • Identify areas for improvement
  • Act as an escalation point for difficult or complex incidents.

Requirements:

  • ICT relevant qualification
  • Previous experience in an infrastructure support, engineering or development role
  • Proficient using Virtualisation and VMWare technologies, Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, SAN / Storage provisioning and management
  • Experience with monitoring, performance optimization and cost management tools
  • Microsoft SQL server administration
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Entra and M365 Services (Exchange, Teams etc)

Working hours are 37.5 hours per week with hybrid working available.
